I had all but decided that the term "giblets" would be officially re-defined or have its definition expanded by the actions of this website, a la today's forecast.
It is, however, already true, that the word can have an array of dirty meanings, as you can see from this reputable source.
A big thanks to Megan for that reference.

The First Weather Podcast - I'd Be Surprised if You Were Able to Finish This Goddamned Thing.
The first Weather Podcast is here. As it turns out, my audio setup is not nearly as good as I had hoped. It sounds scratchy, but it is still worth a listen because it is stuffed full of COMEDY! It probably would have been a good idea to test it at an earlier time than right before I recorded it. It will be fixed for the next forecast. It is my meteorologic promise to you.
Today's podcast includes forecasts for the following cities:
After you listen to the podcast, check out some follow-up research I performed here.
Enjoy the forecast.

A Weather Podcast Preview: A 4-CAST Classic Musical Thursday
The story behind The Weather Podcast is a long one. That's why I will give you a shortened version. As a young, bright-eyed college student at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, I produced a daily (in theory) weather forecast that was available over the telephone. Listeners could dial a phone number--owned by WRUR 88.5--and hear a recording I had made of the day's weather forecast.
I had many psychotic fans, and it is my hope that none of them discover this podcast. For you normals, however, I hope you enjoy this new outlet, and as my thanks for your interest, I present you with this preview of what is to come. Every Thursday on the forecast, I sang the weather and called it a Musical Thursday. This is an episode from April 11, 2003, where I not only sang but also played the guitar, giving the weather forecast to the tune of Green Day's "Good Riddance."
Tonight will bring you the official launch of The Weather Podcast, complete with new additions to the site.
Enjoy the flashback.
